The works in this exhibit depict plants from the Garden’s collection by Florilegium Society artists. The artists portray the plants as they prepare themselves for winter in the landscape, sometimes showing off as they do so; sometimes resisting the long, cold constraints and flowering; or gratefully making themselves at home, with an occasional splash of brilliance, in the very different seasonal patterns of the conservatories.
